  • search online sound libraries to collect sound effects
  • read scripts to create a cue list for sounds
  • meet with directors to discuss creative projects
  • set up sound equipment for live performances
  • monitor audio for live performances and productions
  • cue sound effects with playback machines during performances
  • edit music and audio clips for clarity and to add special effects
  • record dialogue from actors
